winter surf

the greatest aspect of surfing in winter in Nova Scotia is that it's never crowded. in fact, there's hardly ever anyone out come November.

Same here, circa a few years ago. The days of cold water and isolation creating solitude in the line-up are long gone. Fortunately for us in the PNW, there's still a significant number of surfers that leave the line-up this time of year to snowboard.

Beautiful and a tad overhead where I was and there really was NO ONE OUT!!! Big thanks to RAS getting me off my fat ass to go check. Sorry you couldn't make it out though.
