dancing killer whales
most of us would not go to see a dancing bear -we would think of this 'circus' act as unethical and barbaric. yet we gladly support Sea World and other similar water parks who train their aquatic mammals to dance for spectators. why are these dancing mammals any different than the ones with fur?

That lady was the 3rd person that whale has killed.
If you haven't already watch 'The Cove.' It covers the history of dolphin training. The bloke who trained Flipper now understands the horror of what he helepd establish (ie trainign dolphins) and is commited to liberating dolphins from captivity and ending the dolphin meat trade.
I totally agree. Let them be wild and free! I cannot stand Seaworld, Disneyland and zoo type of places.

that orca killed a trainer at the now-defunct sea land in Victoria when i was a kid. i was probably 11 or 12 and remember it well. pretty horrible all round.
I too watched "the cove" and not would not go to sea world etc. tho i would like to swim with dolphins in the wild i think
